I spent the last few days down in Austin visiting with my brother and sister and her two month old baby mia. Most of the time was spent hanging around the house, eating take out and watching tv. One night we all went out for tex-mex and brought baby Mia along. She looks so cute in this picture with her bright blue eyes and red hair.

I started school this month. I am now really officially a grad student, which I am still a bit surprised by. I am going to Bank Street School of Education, getting a masters in Museum Education. This summer I will be taking all of my basic education classes: child development, language acquisition, arts workshop for teachers, and developmental variations. I like the area that the school is located in- its at 112th and Broadway on the upper west side. Growing up my parents always made me stand still on the first day of school long enough for them to take a first day of school picture. I figure I might as well continue the tradition.
