We met up with Ben this morning for a breakfast of crepes and a walk up a canal. The area took us into some not o touristy areas. Near the top of the canal we had a couple of glasses of wine and rested our sore feet.





Afterward we lounged around in a garden outside of a building now used for the French senate, drinking cookies and drinking coffee.



In the afternoon we lounged around our apartment watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics. In the evening Adrien and I went to the Louvre (Friday night the museum stays open until 10). We only got to see one gallery and certainly want to go back.



We strolled over to the Eifel tower in time to see the lights flickering. Each night the lights flicker for ten minutes once an hour. The tower was beautiful all lit up at night. Here are pictures of the tower lit up, and then flickering.
